Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, NBC, Gossip,

DescriptionEvery once in a while, there’s a tune on television you just can’t get out of head.  What is the name of that song?  Why can’t I stop singing it?  Other times, there’s a familiar face you know you’ve seen before.  What movie was he/she in? He looks like someone I went to school with!

Just recently I was forced to hit the computer after watching the new and improved season of .  I was obsessed with finding out who the new man in the DA’s office was.  I had a hard time getting the name out of my head, even though I knew it wasn’t him.  I simply had to end the mystery before I could go to bed.

Thankfully, I found out I wasn’t crazy.  The actor had starred in one of my favorite gut-wrenchingly romantic movies:  1997’s The Wings of the Dove was the man who had captured the heart of two women in that film ( and and many others in the theater like me.

But if period dramas are not your thing, there’s a chance you might have seen him in another little project:  .  Roache played deceased father, Thomas Wayne.

  • Medium (NBC, 10pm):  Season four premiere.  “Allison has creepy visions of a boy being kidnapped from a toy store.”  I never did trust that Geoffrey Giraffe.
  • Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations (Travel Channel, 10pm):  Anthony travels to Singapore for his latest season premiere.  I don’t like traveling with crusty people, but I love watching them venture on TV.
  • The Daily Show/The Colbert Report (Comedy Central, 11:30pm):  Tonight Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert will crank out their versions of a writer-less show.  God love ‘em for trying.
